The Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico is a stunning and historic hotel right at the heart of the action. My room was spacious and provided a beautiful view of the central Zocalo Plaza. While the staff were incredibly accommodating and made my stay enjoyable, the noise from the surrounding festivities was a significant downside, especially at night. Overall, I felt the hotel offered great value for money given its location, but the issues with noise and some maintenance need attention.

However, some dining options fell short of expectations, and Wi-Fi could be a bit finicky at times. Overall, it's a fantastic choice with great value for money, especially in such a prime location.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel with its rich history and elegant decor. The location is perfect, just steps away from the main square, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants and attractions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but there was some street noise during the holiday celebrations. The service was top-notch, especially the warm welcome and attentive staff. However, I wish the dining options were a bit more varied for breakfast. Overall, it was a great value for such a luxurious stay.

Staying at this hotel was a memorable experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Zocalo and many historical sites. The room was beautiful and comfortable, felt truly luxurious. However, the view from my room wasn't great due to the astroturf, and I had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. Overall, I had an enjoyable time and would definitely return.
